Dante Fox was formed on September 1989, when a golden partnership was started between
lead vocalist Sue Willetts and guitarist Tim Manford. The debut album, "Under Suspicion", was
released on October 1996, while their second album, "The Fire Within", was released on March 1999.
I started by talking about these two albums because the new album, "Six String Revolver",
pays homage to the band's most popular songs from these albums. The line-up consists of Sue
and Tim, along with Alan Mills (Bass Guitar) and Eric Ragno (Keys), whom we have previously seen
together in "Breathless", released in 2016.
Alright, we got some magical tracks here! Combine the great production, amazing crystal-clear vocals,
excellent melodic guitars by Tim and fantastic performance by all the artists involved, and what you get
is a top-notch quality melodic album! It will be released on the 24th of November 2017 by AOR Heaven,
coming to end 2017 in a beautiful musical way!
I believe that Sue together with Robin Beck are currently the top female voices in the melodic rock industry.
It was an amazing decision by the band to release these tracks. This is very clear from the moment you start
listening to the album. You will unconsciously close your eyes and let it take you on a wonderful musical journey!
It's definitely among BeRock Radio's Top 3 releases of 2017. Don't make the mistake of passing up on this
album, as the only one who will be missing out is you! As for the score, I can't give it anything short of perfect,
but as even 10/10 is still too little, I am going to give it a 10/10 with Honors.
