First of all, it's apparent that these guys are natural born Rockers! This resulted in
them creating an album full of fresh ideas, as well amazing hard rock sound that will lift
your mood up and make your neck hurt from all the headbanging, in case that you listen
to it live! (laughs!)
This is their story..
PILEDRIVER are firmly established as a STATUS QUO tribute band and have been playing on classic rock
festivals all over Europe for more than 20 years. PILEDRIVER are on a mission: to carry the original STATUS QUO
sound of the 1970s into a new era without performing only the old classics as a mere cover band.
Following the debut album "PILEDRIVER" (1997), a Maxi-CD called "HI!" (2000) and "PILES OF ROCK" (2004),
PILEDRIVER have released their third album "Brothers In Boogie".
As "One Way to Rock" begins, so does the headbanging as you listen to the first notes
of the "dirty" guitars! Add the "hoarse" vocals into the mix, alongside the melodic
rhythm, and you'll see what I'm talking about! Coming right up is "Together", with
the same "dirty" rock sound, only more melodic, with beautiful crystal-clear vocals
and a fantastic chorus! These two tracks provided an excellent start for the album!
The following track is "Rock in a Crossfire Hurricane", and it's the third hard rock diamond
in a row! These guys have set out to drive us crazy from headbanging! We're
only at the start and my neck hurts from it! (laughs!) Amazing rhythmic bass and drums,
incredible guitar sound and vocals worthy of a rock seminar! Excellent track!
Equally high-quality hard rock tracks are the upcoming ones,"Good Times", "Natural Born Rockers",
"Fat Rat Boogie", "Mountain", "Frantic Groove" "Don't Think It Matters", "Drifting Away",
"Queen Obscene" and "Lollipop Lolita".
The album is ended melodically by the beautiful track, "Last Words", a track with vocals
that are trully spectacular!
Conclusion? These guys have released a trully powerful hard rock album with amazing sound,
excellent guitars and incredible vocals. These are some high quality track compositions. I'm sure
the tracks will make crowds go wild when they are played live, due to how rhythmic and powerful
