As I press the play button, the notes of "All I Need" fill the room with "dirty" melodic
guitars, rhythmic bass and drumms, and amazing rough vocals. It will take no more than 10
seconds before the headbanging begins!
What follows up next is even better. The next track is "Love Will Find a Way", where the
previously rough vocals have now transformed into crystal-clear ones, and the guitars have
become amazingly rhythmic, giving us an amazing chorus! These two tracks have provided
an amazing start to the album!
Right after these tracks, we have "I Can Take You" coming up in calmer rhythms, as it's
the album's first ballad. From the very beginning, you'll have your eyes closed and let the
track take you on a trip through its musical world. As you listen to it, you will feel calm,
just as when the light breeze cools you as it passes through you. Beautiful track.
Continuing the album in calm rhythms is "Sleepless Angels", which shines above the rest
due to its amazing vocals. Because the track's an acoustic one, you can appreciate the vocals
even more than normal. Coming up next in the same quality footsteps, we have "Angels",
"Save a Little Love", "My Everything" and "I Need You", and lastly, we have "Nah Nah Nah"
and "Like a Phoenix" closing the album rhythmically and melodically.
In summary, Epic have released an amazing melodic hard rock piece of work. What makes it
even more special is that they have an amazing frontman, and in our days, it's very difficult
to find such a good female vocalist in the melodic hard rock scene, which is very demanding.
Tanya Rizkala has an amazing voice. The album's compositions are also of very high quality, as well
as the tracks' performances. One of the top releases of this year, definitely. Don't miss out on it
for any reason! As for the score, I can't give it anything less than a 10/10. I'll have to leave you
for now, to listen to "Love Will Find a Way" one more time! (laughs!!)
