Dante Fox return with their latest piece of work and the same line-up
they had previously shown to us with the release of their fourth album,
"Last Man's Ground" (2012). Their newest members are Andy Perfect (Drums),
Alan Mills (Bass Guitar) and Eric Ragno (Keys).
"Breathless" is a well-written album with melodic rock music of high
quality levels. Sue Willetts' voice shines in these tracks, showing that
there was a reason that she was voted 19 in the top 50 female vocalists
of all time in the Classic Rock magazine, alongside Ann Wilson and Cher.
The performance of the musicians is excellent throughout all of the album.
The sound of the keys is fantastic, just as the wonderful sound of guitars is,
alongside the great backing vocals of Lee Small.
Here you'll find some melodic rock diamonds, such as "Young Hearts",
"Love Affair", "Broken Hearted Man" and, my personal favorite of the
album, "I Can't Stop Tonight". It brings back memories of "Under The City Lights"
from "The Fire Within", which they released in 1999. The mixing and mastering
of the album are also done amazingly by Sheena Sear.
With all of these factors taken into consideration, what we have is a high-quality
production for a high-quality piece of work. In summary, don't miss out on it on
the 26th of August 2016, when it will be released by AOR Heaven. It's one of the
good, quality releases of 2016!
