As "It's Just A Tease" starts, the room is immediately 'filled' with amazing riffs,
accompanied by rhythmic bass & drums! The last piece of this wonderful hard rock
puzzle would be the amazing crystal-clear female vocals!

Before you manage to catch your breath after all the headbanging, "FFWF" starts
playing and the headbanging resumes with this amazing track! These two tracks have
provided an excellent start for this album! Let's see what these rock ladies have in
store for us next...

The next track is "Alright Alright", and you'll be shouting "Oh yeah!" from the very
first notes! Continuing the album in the same quality footsteps as the previous tracks
are "Deal With The Devil", "Give Me Some Lights", "Roadkill" and "Enemy".

The last tracks that close the album are "Vagabond", "Thunder Machine" and
"Rock n Roll Sisterhood", and they do so in a way that will make your neck hurt
from all the headbanging! (laughs!!)

In summary, we have a group of amazingly rock ladies with a lot of attitude in their music.
They have excellent tracks, and when combined with their youth, talent and energy, their
delivery is amazing! Personally, I don't remember an all-female band with this much attitude
rocking the way these ladies do.

Fantastic album from an amazing band! You can preorder it only for 13 EUR + VAT from
DESPOTZ Records' site. The best thing you could do is get it immediately, because we are
talking about excellent work here! As for the score, I can't give it anything lower than a 10/10,
as I would do the band injustice, and there's no way I'm doing that!
Well done rock ladies, kickass stuff!

ALBUM INFORMATION:

Line Up:
Clare Cunningham – Lead vocals
Filippa Nassil – Lead guitars
Giorgia Carteri – Guitars
Linda Strom – Bass
Tilda Stenqvist – Drums

Band's Story:
In 2010 guitarist, Filippa Nassil wanted to play rock n roll so with the melody to a song and a barrel
full of dreams and vision, she put together the band Thundermother, moving to Stockholm to make
the dream a reality.

Finding her first partner in crime in the form of Italian ex-pat and fellow guitarist, Giorgia Carteri,
the duo went through a series of musicians before they found the right trio with the same drive
and similar musical ambitions in their hearts in the form of Irish singer, Clare Cunnimgham,
bassist, Linda Strom and drummer, Tilda Stenqvist.

Coming together to share their love of rock music and combine it with the fact that the girls
don’t take life so seriously was the goal for Thundermother and it’s noticeable from the word “go.”

Hitting the road was an integral part of the band’s temperament and they’ve done so in spades,
touring with the likes of Motorhead, In Flames, Zakk Wylde, Danko Jones, Opeth, Airbourne,
Michael Monroe and many more in both supporting roles and on festivals and cruises such as
Sweden Rock, Close-Up Boat, Metaltown, Musikhjlpen (Music Aid) and others.

In 2014, Thundermother crashed into the Swedish national charts at #2 with their debut album,
‘Rock N’ Roll Disaster’ and are now set to release their sophomore effort, Road Fever.
Hitting Lemon Studios in Klippan in May the band tracked five songs with Martin Ekeland then
headed back to Stockholm to Cobra Studios to work with main engineer Martin Ehrencrona and
with Nassil herself producing. The vibe at Cobra fit Thundermother’s sound so well with its
70’s rock analog feel and original gear that the result was nothing less than spectacular.

With Road Fever, Thundermother has a more driven, retro sound than their debut effort did
and the band looks forward to new fans discovering them as well as satiating the appetites
of those who helped drive ‘Rock N’ Roll Disaster’ to success.
