The moment I pressed the play button, the notes of the melodic and rhythmic track,
"Carrie", fill the room! It will drift you away with its rhythm, alongside great bass,
crystal-clear vocals, amazing keys and a killer chorus! Simply put, it's a great track.
Right after that is the imposing track that goes by the name of "Full Circle", which
follows in the same footsteps as the first track, only with more melodic guitars! These
two tracks have provided an excellent start for the album.
Continuing the album on the same level of quality are the following tracks: "My Friend Jack",
"As Crazy As It Seems", "She Smiles" and "The Book", with the last one winning the 'battle'
amongst them due to its rhythm!
Up next in calmer rhythms is "Masquerade", which also has wonderful crystal-clear vocals,
melodic guitars and excellent bass! It's one of the tracks that shines above the rest. Lastly,
we have "Splinter", "The Hunter" and "Bedlam" closing the album rhythmically and melodically!
With this release, "The Room" have proven that they're one of the higher-quality bands out
there in the UK at the moment, and that you can rest assured that their work will not disappoint, simply
because it is excellent material! They have managed to find their own, unique style of sound,
which makes it hard to categorize them under a specific genre of music. Regardless, they shine
due to their quality work!
In short, if you like great rock music, then "Beyond The Gates of Bedlam" is an album that
you shouldn't miss out on!
