“Privilege of Power” begins and so does the headbanging after the first notes! It sports a great,
speedy rhythm, powerful drums, rhythmic bass and an amazing rock sound from the guitars! Add
the rough vocals into the mix and you have successfully connected all pieces of this musical puzzle!
An amazing track that serves as a splendid way to start the album!
After listening to the beginning of the next track, “Nothing”, the only thing you’ll want to do is
scream “Yeah!”! A modern, melodic and rhythmic hard rock track from a group of extremely talented
young guys! Similarly to the first track, the drums in this one are equally fantastic! The riffs are very
strong and the vocals are as “dirty” as they need to be in order to make the track feel powerful!
“Tainted”, “Pray To Break” and “Stillborn” continue the album in the same quality footsteps, however,
the last one stands out from the rest, as it is a beautiful ballad! Following up are “Snakebite”,
“Hell And Back”, “Touch The Sky” and “Catching Fire”, with the last one will bringing you memories of Bon Jovi
at their best! An excellent track with fantastic guitars, beautiful vocals, melodic drums and rhythmic bass!
You’ll definitely listen to it twice before moving on! The album ends melodically and rhythmically with
“All That’s Left” and “Hiding Star”!
Concluding, this is an excellent piece of work! A difficult feat to pull off such quality material, especially when it comes to
debut albums! What’s most impressive, however, is that this was the production of a group of young, talented guys!
People the melodic hard rock music scene is currently in need of. Not to mention they’re hailing from a music school
with a great history, the German one! An incredible album that deserves the support of all who love the hard rock scene!
I’d be doing it injustice if I gave it a rating of anything lower than 9/10, though all things considered, they are very close to a
perfect 10/10! If they keep this up, that’s the rating their next album is most likely to get. Great work guys! Kickass stuff!
