As I press the play button, the room is filled with melodic guitars, beautiful keys,
and amazing, crystal-clear vocals! "Around the Sun" is the kind of song that you
can tell is a diamond from the very first notes! And a diamond is exactly what it is.
After cranking up the volume and listening to it at least twice more, you'll move on
to the next track!
Up next we have the rhythmic and melodic track, "Gone". It's yet another high-quality
melodic rock composition! What an excellent start these two tracks have provided for these
Brazilian guys! "Hello Hello", "Bye Bye Supermam" and "Numb" continue the album in the
same quality footsteps, with the last one being crowned 'winner' due to its beautiful guitars and
rhythm.
Right after those comes the ballad of the album, "Where Are You Going Now", in more melodic
and calm rhythms. A beautiful track, perfect to start a musical journey with. Continuing
the album melodically and rhythmically are "Gravity", "One More Time", "The One Within" and
"Land of Lightning". After those we have the album's second great ballad, "Scene", and last but not
least, we have "Home" and "Dancing in the Morning" closing the album melodically.
In summary, "Land of Lightning", the second work of these Brazilian rockers, is an excellently
well-written melodic rock album with high quality material and compositions. These musicians have
'bonded' together very well, as is evident by the results, their music. They also have a very
charismatic vocalist with a fantastic voice. One of the great albums to close this year with!
Buy it and you will not be disappointed. Amazing work!
