"Season of the Witch" begins, and right after its intro with beautiful keys,
the powerful bass, drums and guitars kicked in! It is when the crystal-clear vocals
begin that you'll start headbanging!
The track is a Melodic Hard Rock piece of a very high quality level, and a fantastic
start to the album! As I'm writing this, I've listened to its amazing solos one more time!
Kickass start! Let's see what's next...
"La Tragedienne" is up next with amazing melodic guitars, an incredible rhythm and
vocals worthy of a Melodic Rock seminar! Add the excellent chorus into the mix and you'll
see we're talking about the second Melodic Hard Rock Diamond in a row!
"Forever", "The Hardest Fall" and "Bleed" are the 3 next tracks, with the last being the most
melodic of them all.
"Where Does Your Heart Beat Now" continues the album and also is a great melodic hard
rock composition. From these 6 tracks, it appears that the band's new Frontman, Adam Payne,
has "bonded"with them amazingly well, and the result is splendid vocals! The same applies to the
wonderful bass of Owen Crawford! The keys of the band's founding member, Gareth David,
are better and more melodic than ever, and the guitar of Chris Gould has launched into
very high quality levels! I don't think there could've been a better Line-up for Serpentine,
where with the release of "Circle Of Knives", they present to us high quality Melodic Hard
Rock music, definitely the best they have released so far, creating a solid foundation for an amazing album!
"Bound by the Strings of Discord", "Circle of Knives", "Such a Long Way Down" and "Suicide Days"
close the album spectacularily, with "Circle of Knives" and "Such a Long Way Down" stealing the
spotlight, the latter being the better track of the two, in my opinion, best of the album even!
It is released on the 24th of April 2015 by AOR Heaven, get it immediately and rest assured
