"I'm Not Your Entertainment" begins, and from the very first notes, it's already
got a hold of your attention. After a while, you realize that this is because it's got
a great rhythm and an amazing chorus that won't let you stop headbanging! Before I
even managed to write this, "Let's Make History" begins, and the melodic Hard Rock party
that Michael Bormann's set up now continues! Amazing rhythm, melodic guitars, incredible keys and
crystal-clear vocals will make you want to listen to it at least twice before moving on! Excellent start for
the album! "Never Say Die", "Can't Get a Touch Too Much", "Because We Are the World", "Living It Up"
and "I Wanna Be a Rockstar" continue the album in the same quality footsteps! Right after those comes
the rhythmic "For This One Time In Life", with elements from Blues and vocals for a melodic Hard Rock
seminar! Great track that will take you on a journey! Next track is "Closer", which the album is named after,
and we're talking about a beautiful ballad. "Rich Men's World", "Dawn to the Bottle" and "Warrior" close
the album, with "Warrior", the album's second ballad, winning the 'battle' of the three!
Conclusion? The fifth solo album of Michael Bormann is one of his best works! The quality standards are
so high on all levels. The composition and execution of the tracks is splendid! The vocals of the album are
excellent, and add the high quality production to the equation and you have all the pieces of this musical puzzle!
One of the better releases that's worth having in your collection! Buy it, because as of the 22nd of May,
it's available for $8,99 on iTunes! An excellent price for the music that it offers.
