Alright, the time has finally come, the new Def Leppard album is in my hands!
I press the play button and "Let's Go" begins. The amazing sound of guitars
has that distinct Leppard feel to it and it 'fills' the room! To complete this
musical puzzle, add in the wonderful bass, rhythmic drums, catchy chorus and
Elliott's crystal-clear vocals, accompanied by equally amazing backing vocals!
Coming up next is "Dangerous", which will have you headbanging from its very
first notes! Powerful, rhythmic and melodic – it will drift you away with its rhythm!
Before I could even think how the band's writing remains very fresh and is much
better than I expected, I am left stunned and speechless by the incredible track,
"Man Enough"! These guys aren't messing around! (Laughs!) Breathtaking bass,
amazing rhythmic drums, 'dirty' melodic guitars', and vocals that are better than ever!
No doubt, this is the best track I've listened to in 2015! After listening to it again
at least three times, you'll move on to the next track, "We Belong", which comes in
calmer and more melodic rhythms. A wonderful track, perfect for riding on your bike.
Continuing the album on the same high levels of quality we have "Invincible", "Sea Of Love",
"Energized", "All Time High" and "Battle Of My Own", with the last one winning the
'battle' amongst them due to its excellent guitars and vocals.
So far, they've shown us that they still have the touch and haven't lost their freshness,
which shows why they're one of the best bands in the world! Amazing guys.
Lastly, closing the album we have "Broken 'N' Brokenhearted", "Last Dance",
"Wings Of An Angel" and "Blind Faith", with the last one being the most melodic of all.
Alright, here we are talking about the best album of 2015! Even though the year isn't
over yet, I highly doubt there will be material of higher quality than this. "Def Leppard"
is an amazing-quality album, which might be why the band gave their name to it! This is only
scratching the surface for what's to come and expect. Drop what you're doing and go get it
immediately! It will be your best purchase of this year!
