Sammy Hagar releases the album "Sammy Hagar & Friends".

Sammy gathers his friends and they create all together an excellent project! There are a lot of
big names on this disc like Taj Mahal, Dave Zirbel, Mona Glader, Bill Church, Sandy Griffith,
Omega Rae, Denny Carmassi, Nancy Wilson, Kid Rock, Michael Anthony, Neal Schon, Joe Satriani and
other and all of them make a treasure of great music!

The CD starts with the song "Winding Down" and continues with some excellent songs like "Not Going Down",
"Personal Jesus", "Ramblin' Gamblin' Man" Bad On Fords And Chevrolets", "All We Need Is An Island"
and this project has two closures.

If you buy the standard version of the disc, the final song returns to real rock and roll with a live
in-studio take of Don Nix's classic "Going Down" as jammed by Hagar with Schon (guitar), Anthony (bass),
and the reliable Smith (drums).

If you buy the deluxe edition, you also get the live bonus track of "Space Station #5," performed at the
Ronnie Montrose Tribute Concert on April 29, 2012, at the Avalon Ballroom in San Francisco. Reportedly,
that deluxe edition will come packaged in a high-gloss digipak. The deluxe CD/DVD package also includes
a "Making of" album documentary with bonus video of the first single, “Knockdown Dragout.”

Whichever version you choose, you can hear plenty of rocking blues, a few pop country and rock music that
is gonna rock your world. The musicians of this project know exactly what to do and they put their
knowledge and their skills to this album for an awesome result.
It's not necessary to say something about these musicians. They are big names and they show us through
their music what they are able to do. Sammy made great choices for his new album and the result is
