Edge release their Debut Album called "Heaven Knows".
This project starts with the song "Little Girl", which remembers the good music of the 80's. After that, there are some
good tracks like "Nowhere To Hide", "The End Of The World", "I Believe In Love", "To Hell And Back" and other. They show
a very good result to their fans through this album. The whole package of the "Heaven Knows" includes excellent melodic sound,
very good heavy guitar riffs, song that pulled by the tiny pop of the snare drum and awesome vocals. The vocals of the band
is the secret ingredient of the band. The lead vocals by Jonas Fross are beautiful layered with good rhythm and are very strong.
These vocals fit exactly for this genre of music, and Jonas can cheers you up or make you sad through his voice. However,
there are and female vocals on the song "Get Over It" and these female vocals add more drama with a positive way. Edge show
that they have put a lot of his talent in that album and you understand it from the beginning.
When you listen this album some bands pass from your mind. They reminds you the music that played from bands like Whitesnake,
Heat and Genesis. They sound you like the music that played on the late of 80's and the early of 90's, but they put their
style and their own music and make an very good result for the AOR/Melodic music genre.
