Blackmore's Night is a British/American traditional folk rock duo, consisting of Ritchie Blackmore
(acoustic and electric guitar) and Candice Night (lead vocals, lyricist and multi-instrumentalist).
They formed in 1997 and they have released a lot of albums since then. Their last release is their
new album, which called "Dancer And The Moon".
The new album of Blackmore's Night is simply perfect! Through their new project, they show us no sign
of slowing down or losing their edge and this is very important. They know what to do and they know
exactly what to give to their fans to love them more than ever before!
When you hear the album of Blackmore's Night you can hear the unique elements of the band. In this album,
they achieved a mix of some music genres and all of them in a great combination. You can hear a mix of
hard rock, grad-folk, medieval and classical -infused art rock and gypsy styling’s.
The thing is that the tracks themselves are a curious selection of originals and covers.
"Dancer And The Moon" contains Randy Newman’s "I Think it’s Going to Rain Today" has been stripped of
any LA jazz and Uriah Heep’s “Lady in Black” sounds unrecognizable with the beautiful treatment.
Also, there is the known song "Temple of the King", which Ritchie originally recorded in 1975 with the
warlock-obsessed Ronnie James Dio, and it sounds so awesome!
On the other hand there are some original songs that shows us the talent of the band, the big step that
they do and that they never going lose it! They love what they do and this is very noticeable.

You must absolutely listen all the tracks from the album of "Dancer And The Moon"!

Steve Xanthis: 9.5/10: "Ritchie Blackmore put high standards through the new album with his musical knowledge
