Voodoo Highway is a powerful new group featuring Federico
Di Marco (vocals), Filippo Cavallini (bass), Matteo Bizzarri (guitars).
Alessandro Duò (keys) and Lorenzo Gollini (drums).
Now known to most for the outrageous stage presence, crashing executions,
a style that hovers between Ritchie Blackmore’s Rainbow and The Darkness
and for the now obsolete (but very cool!!) custom of smashing instruments...
on stage, Voodoo Highway are becoming a cult in their murky underground territory.
The Voodoo has already infected Europe and USA on radio and has been played on air on
several online station in England, Italy, Spain, Germany, Greece and USA east and
west coast.Continuing to convert at any of their outrageous concert some new brain
to Voodoo, the band is now getting excellent responses from the public and press
for the very first EP ("This Is Rock n 'Roll, Cocks!"), produced and recorded by
the great sound engineer / witchdoctor Luca Magni and which now has sold over 2,000
copies since its release in July 2010. Contaminating the area with injections
of rock n 'roll, the band has just recorded its very first LP “Broken Uncle’s Inn”;
representative of a style that is defined by most as a perfect cross between the
sounds of the '70s Deep Purple and Rainbow, and the issues of most modern bands.
