Place Vendome release their new album!

This is the third album for this band after the self titled "Place Vendome" (2005) and the
"Streets Of Fire" (2009). The band of the German melodic singer Michael Kiske did it very well.
All the band members know what to do to make every song special and you can understand that from
the beginning till the end. But also, we have to say a big bravo to Frontiers President,
Serafino Perugino, for handpicking the writers for the disc. There are some big names here like
Tommy Denander (Radioactive), Timo Tolkki (ex-Stratovarius), Magnus Karlsson (Primal Fear),
Sören Kronqvist (Sunstorm, Issa) and other.

The album "Thunder In The Distance" contains 13 great songs. The disc starts with the song
"Talk To Me". After a short intro the track proves us that is a melodic gem with chorus that lifts
you up. The CD continues with songs like "Power Of Music", "Broken Wings", "Lost In Paradise",
"Never Too Late", "Heaven Lost", "My Heart Is Dying", "Maybe Tomorrow" and the album closes with
the song "Thunder In The Distance". You can hear a lot of things on these tracks.

First of all, there are enticing choruses and powerful keyboards by Gunter Werno. Also, there is
adrenaline in the music of the tracks, modern melodies, strong slicing guitar by Uwe Reitenauer,
well worked rhythm sections by Dennis Ward and the harmonies that are a prominent base of the album
"Thunder In Distance".
Generally, all the members of Place Vendome did it well but we have to say that Michael Kiske is
one of the big "keys" of this disc. Michael Kiske is a phenomenon! He works very hard and you can
hear it on the songs. His voice is really perfect and travels you in melodic places.
